I’ve never been particularly good at sitting still.

Whether I’m training for a CrossFit competition, hiking up a mountain, traveling somewhere new with my wife, Nikki, building a business, or chasing another big idea. I love being challenged, pushing myself, and seeing what’s possible.

My faith is at the center of how I try to live my life. I believe God has given each of us gifts, opportunities, and people to steward well, and I want to make the most of what He’s put in front of me. For me, that means working hard, loving people well, and constantly trying to grow into a better husband, friend, leader, and follower of Christ.

CrossFit has become a huge part of that journey.

I love training and competing, but coaching is probably where I find the most fulfillment. There’s something incredibly rewarding about helping someone push past a limit they’ve placed on themselves. Whether it’s their first pull-up, a PR they’ve been chasing for years, or simply showing up consistently when life gets hard, I love helping people realize they’re capable of more.

That’s also why CrossFit Goose Creek means so much to me. It has never felt like just a gym. It’s a family.

These are people we train with, celebrate with, struggle with, pray for, laugh with, and genuinely do life alongside. Some of my closest friendships have been built inside these walls, and as an owner and coach, I want every person who walks through our doors to feel like they have a place here.

I want our gym to be somewhere people come to build more than just muscle. I want it to be a place that challenges you to become stronger, more confident, more disciplined, and more capable so you can go out and build a better life with the people you love.

When I’m not at Crossfit Goose Creek, you’ll probably find me working on one of several businesses with Nikki, traveling, hiking, doing something unnecessarily competitive, playing board games, eating chocolate chip cookies, building a LEGO, or convincing someone to join me on whatever adventure I’ve come up with next.

For me, fitness has never just been about being fit. It’s about becoming the kind of person who is ready to say yes to more challenges, more adventures, more opportunities to serve others, and more of the life God has given us to live.
